It was absolutely amazing! Everything was beautiful, clean, and comfortable — the experience exceeded our expectations. Near to the center and the lake.
We had a really lovely stay in Bracken Cottage. It's been beautifully renovated, with a superb open-plan living space that was perfect for our multi-generational family holiday. Every little detail has been thoughtfully considered - from a smooth self check in via lockbox to handy kitchen touches like tea, oats, spices. The location is fantastic too - peaceful, yet in walking distance to Bowness Pier. We'd happily stay again!

The space has an incredible energy—beautifully designed and immaculately clean. We found ourselves constantly admiring how well everything was curated. The home had everything we needed and more. Isabel’s communication was flawless—friendly, responsive, and always accommodating. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and even shared some amazing walking routes that ended up being highlights of our trip. The location is fantastic: quiet, serene, and perfectly situated for exploring the surrounding nature. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home! The house design is truly stunning — modern, stylish, and thoughtfully put together. You can tell a lot of care went into every detail. The location is also a huge plus. It was accessible by public transport and close to popular attractions, which made getting around super easy. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable and convenient stay — it really felt like a home away from home. Isabel was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and responsive, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again!
Oh wow, where do I even begin? Isabel’s place is absolutely beautiful — newly renovated, stylish, and somehow even better than the photos. The location is perfect: just a 10-minute walk to the lake and about 15 minutes to Windermere town centre. The check-in instructions were clear, the home had everything we needed, and the kitchen was incredibly well-equipped. We loved every minute of our stay and had such a lovely family time. Would definitely love to come back again!

We really enjoyed our stay! The entire space was so peaceful and clean. We had everything we needed and there were some really thoughtful details around the home which made our stay extra special. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. The overall space functions really well and the location was perfect for us -- so close to the Lake and walking trails. Communication and flexibility was great. We can't say enough good things.
This is a beautiful holiday home! Isabel was a great host - helping me with local arrangements in advance. Isabel helped make our stay a really special occasion. The house is decorated to a very high standard and is very comfortable for a group of six.
The apartment is close to Windermere town, 10 minutes walk to the town centre and the lake district, very convenient location.The apartment is very beautiful, clean and tidy, especially the bathroom and shower are very comfortable, especially there are many board games suitable for children to play, very suitable for family travel accommodation.Isabel is a very enthusiastic person, considering that we have a lot of luggage, she checked us in early, thank you very much.When we left, she was also very enthusiastic about booking a taxi for me. What a wonderful property. So beautifully decorated yet very cosy. Easy to walk into bowness and a lovely quiet street. Isobel is a fantastic host and we can’t wait to return. Well done, it truly is perfect. X
